ROOM AND CONTENTS – PLANTING GUIDE

When it’s time to light up your plot, here’s how to do it right.

🌱 Planting Type:
Till ground for best results. This blend loves well-prepped soil.

📅 Planting Dates:

  • Spring: March – early June

  • Fall: August – September

🌾 Seeding Rate:

  • Broadcast: 40–50 lbs/acre

  • Drilled: 30–35 lbs/acre

🌍 Soil Prep:

  • Remove weeds and debris

  • Disk or till 2–4 inches deep

  • Firm seedbed with cultipacker or roller if possible

💦 Planting Depth:
1/4" to 1/2" — shallow is better! Don’t bury it too deep.

🌤️ Sunlight Needs:
Prefers full sun, but will handle partial shade

🚫 Fertilizer Tips (Optional):

  • 300–400 lbs/acre of 10-10-10 for a strong start

  • Lime if pH is below 6.0

Maintenance:
Mow or lightly overseed in spring or fall to refresh the plot. Let it grow through hunting season for max attraction.
