🌱 Planting Type:
No-till and minimum-till friendly. Perfect for tight timber plots and rough ground.
📅 Planting Dates:
Spring: March – early June
Fall (best time): August – September
🌾 Seeding Rate:
Broadcast: 8–10 lbs/acre
Frost Seeding: 6–8 lbs/acre
Overseed into dead vegetation or thin ground cover for best results
🌍 Soil Prep (No-Till Friendly):
Mow existing vegetation tight
Spray if needed to kill competition
Broadcast seed before rain or on moist soil
Press or roll seed in if possible (optional but helpful)
💦 Planting Depth:
1/8" to 1/4" – keep it shallow, good seed-to-soil contact is key
